Nigeria Mission

The church:

Pastor Cliff who started the ministry was converted after a crusade in 1989 November while an undergraduate by January 1990 while praying for baptism of the Holy spirit was baptized in his room.
On graduation he heard the call of God and moved into itinerant preaching in the buses, markets open air, and house to house evangelism.
The ministry began as a fellowship in an uncle’s house. Multitudes from the orthodox groups were repenting and being baptised in the water and in the Holy Spirit. The move of God was so obvious that persecution arose from bishops of the orthodox groups who claimed that their members were being deceived.
As a result of the persecution, Pastor Cliff left the village for the town where he concentrated on bus ministration from 1992 to 1994.

In August 1994, God spoke to him to return to his city for the same work of the ministry. The church therefore was born that month in Pastor Cliff’s living room. From there the church moved to a guest house and finally the church has erected a story building for a permanent place of worship. The church is pastured by Pastor Cliff and Pastor Stella whom he married while an itinerant evangelist.

Pastor Chukwudi is a fresh graduate from the bible school and serves as an associate pastor.

The school:

The school ministry vision  was born in November 1994. The school operates the Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools at three locations. It is purely a Christian school and our students are our ambassadors for Christ in their homes.

Projects:

The school and the church execute a common project we have been able to erect a story building with the church hall up and classrooms downstairs. A second building of three floors is presently under construction.

Visions:

Cultism had become the order of the day in Nigerian schools, hence the need for Christian schools. We are designing a programme to register a Christian university in the nation of Nigeria. This we hope will materialise in 2011, three years from now..

Hospitals:

Are gates through which the rich and the poor go through, we therefore want to start a Christian hospital to catch them on the sick bed for Christ.

Care:

The rate of poverty in our nation is alarming. Our ministry has an orphanage and widowhood foundation. More than 40 students are on our scholarship, ranging from orphans to fatherless and the very poor and indigent.
One of the pictures is a three room apartment built for a widow by our ministry, yet to be completed.
More than ten pastors receive relief materials from our ministry every month.
Our partnership with WIC has been a lot of encouragement. We have been able to plaster and paint the first building from the money they gave us in “May” this year. I am persuaded to have this ministry run as WIC Nigeria. We have secured a plot of land for WIC Missionary Quarters. I am also hoping to buy two manageable cars before your return next year.
May God strengthen you in the work of the Kingdom.
