    • The Journey So Far

    In April of 2005, a group of 11 people got the call of God to start a Church that would not compromise on the TRUTH of the Word.

    With the pastor receiving the call of God to head up this vision that God had given them, this small group of people began to meet in their homes for fellowship, Bible study and worship weekly on Sunday nights. They were passionate for His Kingdom and to see all of God’s people come into the fullness of Christ.

    After one month, the Lord began to add to the 11 and so they became 16. Then 3 months later there were 25. And so the Church World Impact Centre was formed and officially opened as a body of believers on the 14th August 2005, with 35 church members.
    Since then God has kept increasing the Church with various ministries. God has brought like-minded people with the call of God for the same vision. Now, we have grown with multiple departments, ministries and programs.

    In January 2006, God opened the door for a church to be planted in Chile, South America, with the same vision and mission - to change the nation for Jesus. We also have a partnership Church in Paraguay, which is also supported by World Impact Centre. These two churches are partnering together to expand God’s Kingdom by teaching people to Rule and Reign throughout South America.

    World Impact Centre keeps on growing under the leadership of our Senior Pastors Cristian and Karen Cortes. The Lord is releasing more spiritual food that brings release and freedom to peoples’ lives and this vision is advancing. Our church has recently acquired and moved into a leased building, located in Myaree, Perth Western Australia.

    World Impact Centre is coming up to the third year of celebration, in which we have experienced and obtained so much from God with the use of our building as a full-time centre for worship, which has enabled us to do so much more in the community.
    This year we have launched a ministry called, Raising Hopes Counseling Service, a department which aims at working closely with government institutions for the recovery and assistance of people with addictions back into the mainstream community. We have also partnered with Growing Kids God’s Way (GKGW), to implement parenting and family programs in the community. We aim to equip and strengthen families who struggle with day-to-day parenting issues and responsibilities.

    So far, this is the journey. Stay tuned as every year, every anniversary adds to this story. In the mean time, let’s walk on this journey together in truth and freedom so that we can all Rule and Reign.
